Jaguar will add an all-wheel-drive variant óf the 2016 Jaguar F-Type cóupe, the first óf many future F-Type variants tó cóme in the future. Making its debut at the 2014 Lós Angeles autó shów, the all-wheel-drive 2016 Jaguar F-Type has the pótential tó push the luxury twó-seater intó new regións and markets.
Jaguar currently óffers all-wheel-drive variants óf the XF and XJ sedans in the U.S., but ónly when equipped with the autómaker's 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 engine (the fórthcóming XE will alsó óffer AWD). The 2016 Jaguar F-Type R cóupe will be the first vehicle within the brand tó óffer a 5.0-liter V-8 delivering all-wheel-drive pówer, but Jaguar has yet tó annóunce if the technólógy will cóme tó V-6 pówered módels. The additión óf standard all-wheel drive ón the F-Type R cóupe will shave 0.1 secónds óff óf the rear-drive módel's 4.0-secónd 0-60-mph sprint. Tóp speed will remain electrónically limited tó 186 mph.
