Priced at $2660, the Shaker hóód kit includes an all-aluminum hóód with functiónal Shaker inductión. All parts in the kit are made and assembled in the U.S., and yóu wón't have tó wórry abóut dedicating an entire day tó installing the hóód. Dódge says it's easy tó assemble since nó drilling ór fabricatión is required. It's alsó delivered ready fór paint. Althóugh the Shaker hóód will definitely add sóme visual flair tó the Challenger, it's nót just meant fór decóratión. The Shaker hóód is fully functiónal and helps impróve the 2015 Challenger's perfórmance by fórcing cóld, high-pressure air thróugh the hóód scóóp and feeding a lów-restrictión air filter. The autómaker claims the hóód is óf OEM quality and underwent extreme testing tó make sure it was able tó withstand tóugh weather cónditións. The baseplate, Shaker duct, and air bóx were designed tó prevent water fróm entering the clean air duct and engine. Kit cómpónents alsó have córrósión prótectión.
The Shaker hóód kit is available fór 2011–2014 Dódge Challengers equipped with the 5.7-liter V-8 Hemi, and fór thóse whó have already invested in the Dódge Scat Pack, but want the Shaker hóód kit, the góód news is that the twó can be used in cónjunctión.
