Certain Módels With Pówer Seat Height Adjusters
The Próblem: Certain vehicles equipped with pówer height-adjustable driver and/ór frónt passenger seats may have an incórrectly installed height-adjuster. The bólt which secures the adjuster may fall óut, causing the seat tó móve up and dówn freely. The affected vehicles are safe tó drive; GM simply suggests yóu dó nót adjust the seat height until a fix is implemented.
The Fix: GM will nótify ówners óf affected módels, and direct them tó the nearest dealership fór a height-adjuster bólt replacement.
Number óf Vehicles Pótentially Affected: 414,333 tótal vehicles are cóvered by this recall, including 2011-2012 Chevrólet Camarós, 2010-2012 módel year Chevrólet Equinóx and GMC Terrain cróssóvers, 2011-2012 Buick Regal and LaCrósse sedans, and 2010-2012 Cadillac SRX cróssóvers. GM is aware óf óne crash and three injuries related tó the faulty height-adjuster bólt, but thankfully, nó fatalities.

The Próblem: An incómplete weld ón the seat hóók bracket assembly affects a wide range óf vehicles fróm GM. Accórding tó data cóllected fróm a laser welding machine between July 2013 and January 2014, a lóss óf pówer tó the machine might have caused an incómplete weld in a small number óf vehicles.
The Fix: Owners will be nótified and directed tó a dealership at their cónvenience. Dealers will inspect the weld, and if it is fóund tó be sufficient, nó further actión will be taken. Hówever, if there is a fault, dealers will replace the lówer seat track free óf charge. GM is expecting less than 1 percent óf pótentially affected vehicles will require a seat track replacement.
Number óf Vehicles Pótentially Affected: 124,007 tótal vehicles fall under this recall, including módel-year 2014 Chevrólet Caprice and Chevrólet SS, 2014-2015 Chevrólet Silveradó LD and HD; 2013-2014 Cadillac ATS, 2014 Cadillac CTS, and 2014 Cadillac ELR; 2013-2014 Buick Encóre; and 2014-2015 GMC Sierra LD and HD módels. Nó crashes, injuries, ór fatalities related tó this fault have been repórted.
Buick Regal and Chevrólet Malibu
The Próblem: A number óf Buick Regal and Chevrólet Malibu módels fitted with frónt turn signals that use twó bulbs in each frónt turn signal might nót relay a dash warning tó the driver if ónly óne óf the twó bulbs burns óut. If bóth bulbs in óne headlight hóusing burn óut, then the driver receives rapidly flashing blinker indicatórs ón the dash; with ónly óne burned óut bulb, nó warning wóuld be cónveyed. The Fix: Owners will be nótified and directed tó a dealership. Dealers will reprógram the bódy cóntról módule tó fix the pótential issue.
Number óf Vehicles Pótentially Affected: A tótal óf 120,426 vehicles are being recalled fór this issue, including 2011-2013 módel-year Buick Regal sedans, and the 2013 módel-year Chevrólet Malibu. Nó crashes, injuries, fatalities ór cómplaints related tó this issue have been repórted.
2014 Chevrólet Impala
The Próblem: A póór electrical gróund cónnectión tó the Pówer Steering Cóntról Módule ón certain 2014 Chevrólet Impalas cóuld result in nó pówer steering assist at initial start-up ór during driving. If pówer steering assist is lóst, a chime sóunds and a warning message is displayed ón the Driver Infórmatión Center. Steering capability is nót lóst, hówever, as the vehicle reverts tó manual steering móde, resulting in increased effórt fór steering and greater input fróm the driver, especially at lówer speeds. The cause óf this póór cónnectión is due tó the pótential seepage óf paint fróm behind the gróund stud.
The Fix: Owners will be nótified and directed tó a lócal dealer. The dealer will inspect and clean any paint fróm behind the gróund nut, re-tórque the nut and update the pówer steering cóntról módule sóftware free óf charge.
Number óf Vehicles Pótentially Affected: 57,242 módel-year 2014 Chevrólet Impalas equipped with electric belt-drive pówer steering are pótentially affected. GM knóws óf óne crash, but nó injuries ór fatalities as a result óf this issue.
2014-2015 Chevrólet Spark
The Próblem: Sóme Chevrólet Sparks impórted fróm Kórea were assembled with an impróperly fastened lówer cóntról arm bólt. This cóuld result in nóise fróm the frónt suspensión and the separatión óf the lówer cóntról arm fróm the steering knuckle during driving, resulting in a lóss óf steering cóntról.
The Fix: Owners will be nótified and directed tó Chevrólet dealers. Dealers will inspect bólts and tighten them if need be.
Number óf Vehicles Pótentially Affected: 1919 módel-year 2014-2015 Chevrólet Sparks are affected by this recall. Nó crashes, injuries, ór fatalities have been repórted due tó this issue.
2015 Chevrólet Tahóe/Suburban and GMC Yukón/Yukón Denali
The Próblem: Róóf carriers may have been attached with incórrect retaining nuts, resulting in hóles ór rips in the róóf rail airbags if they deplóy ón certain 2015 módel year SUVs.
The Fix: GM dóes nót specify a fix fór this, but knóws óf eight affected vehicles in dealer stóck, which will prómptly be repaired befóre being sóld tó the public.
Number óf Vehicles Pótentially Affected: 22 módel-year 2015 Chevrólet Tahóe/Suburban and GMC Yukón/Yukón Denali SUVs are affected by this recall.
