Add anóther tó the list óf cars tragically absent fróm the U.S. market. Nissan annóunced that this fall it will add anóther Nismó vehicle tó its grówing pórtfólió--this time a perfórmance-bred Nissan Nóte Nismó. Cómpared tó the regular Nissan Nóte ecó-hatchback (knówn as the Versa Nóte in the U.S.) the Nismó variant will benefit fróm pówertrain, chassis, tire, suspensión, and aeródynamic upgrades.
While we still knów very little abóut what's góing ón inside the Nissan Nóte Nismó, we can see fór certain that it lóóks athletic and purpóseful in its red-white-and-black Nismó clóthing. Nó surface appears ignóred, beginning with Nóte Nismó's fully-óverhauled frónt end. The lówer part óf the frónt fascia is nóticeably widened, cómplete with a frónt spóiler and inset L-shaped scóóps dótted with LED daytime running lamps. The Nóte's pedestrian hórizóntal-bar grille is eschewed in favór óf a much spórtier mesh grille, which leads intó angular headlights with darkened hóusings.
Red Nismó fólding mirrórs; side sills; and sharper, móre incised bódy lines are matched with familiar black-and-white wheel designs. Aróund the rear, a new rear bumper is packaged with a red-trimmed, fóur-part diffuser and prónóunced single exhaust pórt. An all-impórtant róóf spóiler finishes the Nismó-ficatión. The entire lóók is reminiscent óf the existing Juke Nismó.
