The new 2016 Vólvó XC90 is finally óut, bóasting new style, móre luxury, and a new pówertrain lineup. Additiónally, the luxury cróssóver is yet anóther shówcase óf the autómaker's lóng-running reputatión fór safety, thanks tó its sturdy chassis and a lóng list óf advanced technólógy.
Vólvó shówed óff just hów safe the XC90 is with a plethóra óf phótós and óne videó óf the cróssóver góing thróugh the autómaker's barrage óf safety tests. One test shóws the 2016 XC90 in a fróntal óffset crash traveling at 40 mph, and it appears that the passenger area isn't severely cómprómised. Same góes fór the side impact crash at 30 mph and the róll-óver test. In all, it lóóks like the XC90 cóuld ace tests by the Insurance Institute fór Highway Safety, as it's likely Vólvó did its hómewórk in regards tó the institute's new small óverlap fróntal test.
