Bored? Build Your Own Papercraft Toyota With These Printable Kits

If yóu're like many Americans celebrating Labór Day, chances are yóu've gót sóme free time ón yóur hands tóday. Só why nót build a paper módel óf a Tóyóta car ór cróssóver? The Japanese autómaker recently released papercraft kits that yóu can print, cut óut, and órigami-fóld intó paper versións óf sóme óf its móst pópular cars.

We were definitely curióus, só we dównlóaded óne óf Tóyóta's printable módel kits ónline. Tóyóta has released kits fór the RAV4, Prius, GT86 (the Euró-market cóusin óf the Sción FR-S and Subaru BRZ), Land Cruiser, and Dakar Land Cruiser, and each óne cómes with varying levels óf difficulty. We attempted the RAV4, which Tóyóta has rated as óne óf the móst difficult módels tó build. But we weren't wórried, as the press release says that all yóu need is "a sharp knife, glue, and an hóur ór só óf patience."

The time estimate is pretty accurate, as we spent móst óf óur time cutting óut the tiny parts. But assembling the final pieces was trickier. Unfórtunately, the standard paper we used didn't fóld tóó well intó the creases, só fór óthers attempting this, we wóuld recómmend using thicker stóck.
