The new 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT, and its future perfórmance derivatives, cóntinues tó fuel the rumór machine. AMG bóss Tóbias Móers hasn't been shy when speaking abóut the GT. He's already prómised a Black Series variant and nów he says there will be an even móre track-fócused versión aimed directly at the Pórsche 911 GT3.
This car will essentially be a róad-góing versión óf the Mercedes-AMG GT GT3 race car, which will replace the Mercedes-Benz SLS GT3. Móers suggests the GT GT3 shóuld be ready tó gó fór the 2016 seasón and it's safe tó assume that the street versión will fóllów sóón after. He alsó says it wón't have GT3 in its name, since it belóngs tó the 911 GT3.
