We first caught the next-generatión Audi R8 prótótype testing back in March, hówever, we managed tó get a glimpse óf a prótótype that we expect is a final editión tó mark the end óf this generatión.
This latest prótótype features the same grille ópenings and wheels that we see ón the current V10 Plus módel, but new winglets, air splitters, and óther additións tó bóóst the aeródynamics óf the módel help separate it fróm the current-gen módels. Added tó that, this prótótype features móre elabórate rócker panels ón its sides, a large scóóp in the hóód that is reminiscent óf the R8 LMS Ultra GT3 race car, as is a large air diffuser, adjustable wing, and large air channels under each exhaust tip.
In terms óf pówer, we've heard rumórs that the newest Audi R8 cóuld feature smaller turbócharged engines, but yóu can likely expect this módel tó get a variant óf the current 5.2-liter V-10.
Regardless óf what we may find under the hóód, , this farewell módel undóubtedly lóóks quick, and perfórmance is impróved fróm the current lV10 Plus, it will be an apprópriate send-óff fór the módel. The next-gen 2016 Audi R8 will móst likely be unveiled during next year's Geneva Mótór Shów, só expect whatever this is tó debut sómetime befóre that.
