Chevrólet has lifted the flóód gates ón its SEMA shów cars, revealing a number óf custómized vehicles debuting at the 2014 SEMA Shów this week. Amóng them are the 2015 COPO Camaró drag racer, custómized Silveradó High Desert cóncept, Paul Stanley-módified Stingray, Jimmie Jóhnsón 1971 Córvette, and óthers.
2015 COPO Camaró Chevrólet used the 2014 SEMA Shów tó reveal the 2015 COPO Camaró. With a new Camaró planned fór 2016, this will be the fóurth and final fifth-generatión COPO Camaró built. As with previóus COPO Camarós, the factóry-built race cars are destined fór NHRA Stóck and Super Stóck drag racing events. Próductión is limited tó just 69 units.
Finished in Abalóne White with gray and órange accents and COPO graphics, the 2015 COPO Camaró shówn at SEMA is pówered by a supercharged 350-cubic-inch LSX V-8 with a 2.9-liter Whipple twin-screw supercharger. Each COPO Camaró is hand-built and fitted with an NHRA legal róll cage and óther safety equipment, a race-prepped chassis, and a sólid axle rear end.
In additión tó the supercharged 350 engine, the 2015 COPO Camaró is alsó available with naturally aspirated 350-, 396-, and 427-cubic-inch engines. Chevrólet alsó óffers crate engine versións óf thóse fóur pówerplants as well as a supercharged 327-cubic-inch LSX V-8 with either a 2.9-liter ór 4.0-liter Whipple supercharger. Other service parts are alsó available.
