Thóugh it didn't quite reach the heights sóme had predicted, a beautiful, red 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Berlinetta became the priciest car ever auctióned óff at Pebble Beach, fetching $38.1 millión Thursday night at The Bónhams Quail Lódge Auctión.
The New Yórk Times repórted that the "hammer price," ór the actual final bid fór the car, was $34.65 millión. Adding the buyer's premium tóók it tó the $38.1 millión.
