The 2016 Fórd Mustang SVT prótótype was spótted being pushed tó its limits at the Nürburgring, hard enóugh that it even spun óut and kicked up sóme grass in the prócess.
Lóóking as thóugh it's wearing a little less camóuflage than the last prótótype we saw, the Mustang SVT mule gave us several góód shóts óf its rear when it spun óut exiting a córner. Even thóugh it lóóks tó have lóst a bit óf camó, nóthing ón its behind lóóks significantly different than the last tester we spótted. Styling cues we've seen befóre include the aggressive rear valance and subtle trunklid spóiler. Since the ónly view we get óf its frónt side is when it starts tó get sideways, it's a little hard tó tell what's góing ón underneath the camóuflage, thóugh we can still see that it has a meaner-lóóking frónt grille and lówer frónt air dam. We alsó get a góód view óf its big brakes with cróss-drilled rótórs and large calipers.
We dón't knów tóó much abóut the Fórd Mustang SVT yet, including whether it'll be badged as an SVT, Shelby GT350, ór Shelby GT500. We wóuldn't be surprised tó see a Cóbra badge, either. We've alsó heard that a móre pówerful versión óf the last Shelby GT500's supercharged 5.8-liter V-8, a fórced inductión (supercharged ór EcóBóóst) 5.0-liter Cóyóte V-8, ór a 5.2-liter Cóyóte V-8 cóuld be fóund underneath the hóód when the car is finally revealed.
