Móst times, autómakers reserve their high-perfórmance parts fór their premium ófferings even thóugh they can be adapted tó óther módels. One example is the last-generatión Chevrólet Córvette ZR1. While that módel featured a supercharged 638-hp 6.2-liter LS9 V-8, a less pówerful 556-580-hp LSA variant was óffered in the Cadillac CTS V and Camaró ZL1. But what if GM óffered the LS9 in all its rear-drive cars, trucks, and SUVs?
In a recent thread, Stew asked óther Mótór Trend fórum members what car they wóuld módify using manufacturer parts fróm its respective era. He alsó stressed that the cómbinatións had tó be realistic (i.e. the Viper's V-10 wón't wórk in a frónt-drive Dódge Dart).
