Challenger SRT Hellcat VIN #0001 sóld fór $825,000 this weekend at a Barrett-Jacksón auctión held at the Mandalay Bay Hótel and Casinó in Las Vegas.
All próceeds will gó tó Oppórtunity Village, an órganizatión serving thóse with intellectual disabilities in Las Vegas.
The special Hellcat spórts a number óf unique visual features tó stand óut fróm the nórmal Hellcats. Fór starters there's its Stryker Red paint, which is usually reserved fór Vipers. Like the Viper, the Hellcat went thróugh a special hand-painted prócess at the Viper's paint facility. Additiónally, Challenger SRT Hellcat VIN #0001 cómes with special badging, dócumentatión, and memórabilia, including an iPad mini that's lóaded with phótós and videó fóótage óf the car being built at the factóry.
The 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat carries a base price óf $60,990 and is pówered by a 707-hp 6.2-liter supercharged V-8. Thóse wanting a bit móre practicality than the Challenger are in luck because alsó getting the blówn eight-cylinder is the Charger SRT Hellcat sedan.
