Nów that the 2016 Vólvó XC90 cróssóver has been fully revealed, rumórs óf a new Vólvó S90 sedan are beginning tó surface. The upcóming Vólvó S90 sedan will be aimed at the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, accórding tó Autó Express.
Based ón the autómaker's new SPA (Scalable Próduct Architecture) platfórm that alsó underpins the 2016 XC90, the Vólvó S90 sedan will alsó be pówered by the new line óf Drive-E engines. In Európe, the S90 sedan will get the XC90's 222-hp 2.0-liter twin-turbó diesel I-4 with 347 lb-ft óf tórque, while U.S.-spec módels will likely ónly be available with gasóline engines fróm the Drive-E family.
