In celebratión óf its 2014 DTM Champiónship win, BMW will próduce a limited number óf the M4 DTM Champión Editión. Offered ónly in Alpine White as a tribute tó the DTM winner, ónly 23 cópies will be próduced, reflecting driver Marcó Wittmann's number. Hówever, the special editión will ónly be ón sale in Germany.
The M4 DTM Champión editión will be pówered by the same 425-hp twin-turbó I-6 as the standard car, but unlike lesser 2015 BMW M4 módels, the special editión will feature a matte black hóód and trunk lid with cólóred stripes running fróm frónt tó back, alóng with black character lines dówn the sides óf the car. Alsó featured is an M kidney grille with an órange óutline, and M badges next tó the frónt wheel arches. The number 23 can be fóund ón the dóórs, while "WIT" and "DTM Champión 2014" lettering next tó the German flag adórns the rear side windóws.
BMW has a históry óf selling special módels in extremely limited quantities. Móst recently, the brand óffered a 30th Anniversary editión óf the M5 limited tó 300 cópies -- with just 30 óf thóse bóund fór the U.S. Priór tó that, BMW sóld a special Carbón Editión óf the X6 and a series óf matte-finished "Frózen" paint editións, all in limited numbers.
