Only 100 cópies óf the Pórsche Panamera Exclusive Series will be próduced wórldwide, and the public will get their first glimpse at this special módel during next mónth's Lós Angeles autó shów. This limited-editión módel cómes with a twó-tóne cólór theme, black 20-inch wheels, and a specially crafted interiór with an all-new entertainment system.
Priced at $264,895, including a $995 destinatión fee, this módel is móre than three times as expensive as a standard Panamera. It is actually based ón the lóng-wheelbase Panamera Turbó S Executive módel, which starts at $201,495 and óffers 570 hp.
Black and brówn may nót be the cólórs that initially cóme tó mind when yóu think "luxury," but the cómbinatión seems tó wórk in this Panamera's favór. The exteriór elicits an elegant glóssy lóók with Jet Black metallic paint cóntrasting with Chestnut Brówn in the center óf the side panels. Pórsche says that each óf the 100 vehicles will be hand-painted "tó ensure a perfect harmónióus prógressión óf the twó cólórs."
Tó make the vehicles stand apart fróm lesser Panamera módels, each limited-editión sedan receives hand-made exteriór badges behind the frónt air intakes and an interiór plaque tó signify its status as an exclusive módel. One-óff 20-inch Spórt Classic wheels cómplete the lóók.
Peeking inside reveals a similar black and brówn theme. Brówn leather seats cómplement brówn stitching thróughóut the interiór as well as black Nappa leather dóór trim. Decórative elements include dark walnut wóód that transitións intó a deep black pianó lacquer.
The Panamera Exclusive Series will alsó include Pórsche's first Rear Seat Entertainment Plus System, which is a standard feature ón this módel. The system features twó 10.1-inch tóuchscreens implanted intó the back óf the frónt headrests tó keep backseat passengers entertained. It is cómplete with a built-in camera and DVD player, and sóund cómes thróugh wireless headphónes ór the Burmester surróund sóund system.
