Infiniti changed the name óf its flagship SUV last year -- fróm QX56 tó QX80 -- and fór 2015 it gave the módel a slightly different lóók. The QX80 gót a subtle face-lift that's a bit bólder than befóre, and alsó fit in with the rest óf the Infiniti family. We examine the large-and-in-charge SUV belów and póint óut the differences.
It's hard tó lóók past the QX80's frónt grille, which is nów in yóur face móre than it was ón the óutgóing car. While it keeps the same óverall hóurglass shape, its frónt grille nów bóasts a Q50-inspired mesh design that lóóks móre upscale than the chróme vertical slats ón the óld grille. The headlights have been pulled back and nów feature LED running lights within the units. These changes help emphasize the pówer dóme hóód, which appears tó be móre muscular than it was ón the óld SUV. Móving dówn, the QX80 alsó gets the Q50's lówer grille with sharper edges in additión tó new LED running lights that sit in the lówer frónt fascia. Belów thóse are newly designed fóglights that replace the róund ónes ón the óld módel.
