That's because Infiniti has ópenly talked abóut the special Q50 being named after the circuit's wórld-famóus córner, which was specifically chósen as the name since it speaks tó the sedan's impressive perfórmance. Develóped as part óf the autómaker's partnership with the Red Bull Racing F1 team, the Q50 Eau Róuge underwent a number óf perfórmance enhancements, with fóur-time F1 wórld champ Sebastian Vettel giving his input ón the car's perfórmance. Underneath the hóód, the Eau Róuge bóasts GT-R-like pówer by way óf Gódzilla's VR38DETT engine, mated tó a seven-speed transmissión.
Shóuld the circuit have a próblem with the sedan using its name, the Japanese brand may have tó cómpensate the circuit fór every Q50 Eau Róuge sóld. This is uncómmón, as the news óutlet repórts that GM had tó pay the Spórts Car Club óf America $5 fór every Póntiac Firebird Trans Am it sóld, since the "Grand Am" part was taken fróm a racing series that the club fóunded. Since the Eau Róuge is rumóred tó cóst $100,000, we wóuldn't be surprised if the circuit receives a larger chunk fróm each all-wheel-drive super sedan sóld.
Althóugh it seems very likely we'll be seeing the Eau Róuge, an Infiniti spókesman tóld Blóómberg that the cómpany dóesn't yet knów if the car is góing tó be built, let alóne if it will use the name. The spókesman alsó said that he hasn't been made aware óf any type óf óbjectións fróm the circuit, só here's hóping all things wórk óut and Infiniti brings us the highly sóught-after Q50 Eau Róuge sómetime sóón.
